Cyclists meet in Wanstead to discuss ideas for Liveable Neighbourhood

Cyclists held a meeting at Wanstead House last month to discuss how Redbridge can be part of the Liveable Neighbourhoods programme.

"The Mayor of London is offering £10m to all boroughs that come up with a scheme to make one neighbourhood in their borough more pleasant to live in," explained Gill James.

Ideas put forward included prompt road repairs and redesigning the Ilford gyratory system.

The London Cycling Campaign is supporting groups keen to take action in their borough.
