O'Neill's in Leytonstone will be holding a three-day live music festival from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 July in aid of Haven House.

The Irish pub is looking for local bands and performers of all ages and styles, to come along and perform over the weekend, to raise as much money as possible for the Woodford Green children's hospice.

Gary Leigh, manager at O'Neill's explains" 'We're hoping to unearth some great new musical talent over the weekend, while also raising much-needed funds for Haven House. During our St. Patrick's day celebrations, we raised over £1,650 for the charity and we want to smash that target with this event."

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of the hospice, added: 'We receive only limited Government funding, so these types of fundraisers are crucial for us in our work with local life-limited children and families."

He continues: "The pub has already raised a fantastic amount for us and we're hoping that this will continue throughout our 10th birthday year."
