The Temple in Wanstead Park reopened last month following £22,000 worth of surveys and repair work to the visitor centre's ceiling.

A public consultation is now underway on plans for future opening hours and ambitions for the Grade II-listed building, which dates back to the 18th century.

This month, the Temple will be open from 10am to 3pm on 8 and 9 December, with current displays including an exhibition telling the story of the Epping Forest Keepers who served in the First World War. Call 020 7332 1911
